MARRIED:Feb. 9, 1876
CARPENTER-DEWY
In Butler County, by Rev. Dr. Harper,  Mr. Judson Carpenter and Miss Lottie Dewey, daughter of E. B. Dewy.  Miss Dewy was a very capable printer, and it is with some regret that we see her turn carpenter. *

Lottie worked as the print setter for the Columbus newspaper at the time of her marriage and it was with "some regret" to the owners that she was leaving her job to marry.
